electric chain hoist manufacturers

This page explains how Chain Hoist Manufacturers Sourcing organizes a comparable request for electric chain hoist manufacturers. The desk collects one written brief, asks factories to quote the same units, and leaves certificates, stock and installation with the named supplier after a match. Nothing on this page is a factory capability claim.

What each quote line must keep separate

Public hoist specification sheets commonly list rated capacity, lift height, feet per minute and voltage. Copy those unit names into the brief. A dealer list or a different model series is not proof that the quoted machine fits the beam or the remaining headroom.

Quote line Buyer writes Factory answers This desk compares
Machine only Rated capacity, lift height, hook or trolley Same units, exclusions listed Whether the two replies share one geometry
Power Voltage, phase, frequency or shop air Motor data and control voltage Whether single-phase and three-phase supply were mixed
Duty cycle Lifts per hour and expected load Duty class stated on the sheet Whether duty class was assumed, not specified
Site extras Freight, anchors, commissioning if wanted Priced only when requested Whether extras were hidden inside a machine price

Nameplate capacity is not the same as the application load at a stated load center. If a fork, magnet or below-the-hook device is used, write that attachment in the brief before treating two replies as interchangeable. Equipment price is also not installed cost: pit work, beam reinforcement and electrical drops stay outside a machine-only line unless the RFQ asks for them.

Matching method used on this desk

  1. 1. Lock the units

Write rated capacity, lift height, lowered height and travel in the same unit system the factory will print. Mixed lb and kg on one page is a comparison failure, not a rounding issue.

  2. 2. Split factory scope from site work

State what the factory must supply and what the buyer will install. Keep charging rooms, anchors and commissioning as named extras. Thomas Supplier Discovery shows a public path of search, shortlist and an RFQ with project notes; that directory pattern is a reference, not this desk's live factory roster.

  3. 3. Request documents after a match

Ask the named factory for a nameplate photo, load test record, wiring diagram and duty class sheet. Those papers belong to the supplier. This desk does not certify a compliance outcome and does not publish a savings percentage.

Read how units should appear on the brief before sending quantity and destination.
