electric wire rope hoist manufacturer
Use this page to turn a building or handling condition into purchase requirements for an electric wire rope hoist manufacturer search. Headroom, beam capacity, duty cycle and destination documents belong in the RFQ. These notes are site questions, not completed project claims.
Site conditions that change the specification
A wire rope hoist often needs more vertical space than a chain hoist of the same rated capacity. Write the distance from the beam to the highest lifted load and the lowered height. If racking or a sprinkler main sits in the same bay, record the obstruction instead of assuming a catalog lift height will clear it.
Beam capacity and flange width decide whether a trolley can travel. A buyer who only writes tonnage leaves the factory free to assume hook mount. That assumption is a specification change, not a free upgrade.
Repeated lifts in a cell are a duty cycle question, not a reason to pick the highest nameplate. State lifts per hour, typical load and whether the motor sees short bursts or long travel. Powered equipment versus a manual hoist should follow available three-phase supply, working pressure or the lack of both, not a universal ranking.
Photograph the existing suspension, pendant, and beam. Record trolley wheel gauge if travel is required. A replacement that looks similar on a catalog page can still fail the runway if flange width or end approach changed. Ask each factory to quote the same capacity basis and to list excluded site work.
Indoor or covered dock lifts stay in this industrial cluster. Boat, ATV or off-road winches do not. Write dock height only when the hoist interfaces with a dock leveler or a pit. Installation and civil work stay as named extras unless the RFQ asks for them.
