Specification check
wire rope electric hoist manufacturers
This checklist lists the fields needed to request comparable quotes from wire rope electric hoist manufacturers. It is not an environmental pledge, a carbon roadmap or a community program. Open items stay open until the buyer and a named factory confirm the same units.
Why the checklist exists
A factory can answer a short email with a catalog page and still leave lift height, drum length, true vertical lift and control voltage unstated. The buyer then compares two numbers that never shared a basis. This desk treats that mismatch as an incomplete brief, not as a finished quotation.
Write the duty, quantity, destination and the units used on comparable quotations. Copy those unit names into the brief instead of a bare number.
Public specification pages for this family use rated capacity, lift height, FPM and voltage. If a reply switches to a different model series, ask whether the drum, reeving and end approach still fit the building. An alternative stays unverified until those items are restated.
Fields that must be closed before you accept an alternative
Record rated capacity, lift height, lowered height and remaining headroom. Wire rope fleets differently than chain. If the factory offers a shorter lift, treat it as a new geometry, not the same hoist.
Write voltage, phase, frequency and pendant or radio preference. Do not assume 230/460 three-phase supply is available because a catalog row shows it. Single-phase replies belong in a separate comparison set.
List machine-only, freight and commissioning as separate yes/no items. After a match, request nameplate, load test and wiring papers from that factory. This desk does not certify those papers.
Photos that help factories quote the same task
Request factory quotes with the checklist closed
Send product, quantity, destination and any open specification choices. Optional budget and supplier preference can ride with the same requirement field.
